How to Install an Electric Bike Battery: Line-up Position
- 30 April 2025
Before installing the battery, check the completeness of the existing battery set.
On E-Mopeds that have 4 batteries, the battery set is equipped with 8 bolts and 3 red battery cables that have different colored cable ends, namely black and red.
To start the installation, open the battery compartment cover bolts on the lower deck using a screwdriver.
Start installing the battery by placing the first battery into the compartment, then attach the cable with the red end to the battery terminal which is also red.
Lock the cable with a bolt using a screwdriver.
Then place the next battery parallel to the first battery.
After all the batteries are installed in the compartment, start attaching the cable with the black end to the blue battery terminal and the red end to the red battery terminal, then continue the pattern to each existing battery.
Please note that for one battery cable, both ends must be attached to two different batteries, so that all the existing cables connect the installed battery circuit.
Next, attach the two types of power cables connected in the compartment to the remaining battery terminals, namely the red power cable to the red terminal, and the black power cable to the black battery terminal.
Tighten with the existing bolts using a screwdriver.
Make sure the battery installation is properly installed before closing the compartment.
Close the compartment cover tightly again and tighten the bolts using a screwdriver.
After the lower deck is neatly closed, turn on the MCB located under the rear seat to activate the e-moped unit.
